Karuah RSL Club, on the banks of the Karuah River at the gateway to Port Stephens, famous for our oysters.
We are only 2.5 hours north of Sydney and 45 minutes from beautiful, historic Newcastle. We have the best of all worlds at our feet. The Hunter Valley Wineries, Barrington Tops, historic Maitland and Morpeth, Hunter Valley Gardens, Nelson Bay, Tea Gardens Hawks Nest and the Myall Lakes are all within 1 hour of our picturesque location.
Newcastle Airport at Williamtown is a convenient 25 minutes away. We are a great day trip destination or welcome break in a long Pacific Highway journey that does not add any more kilometres to detour through town. There are many easily accessible places to park close to the club, even the longest motor home or caravan, so please stop and enjoy our relaxed, friendly atmosphere and modern facilities. Why not stay over? There are 3 motels and 2 caravan parks within walking distance of our friendly staff, great food and ice cold drinks.
Getting married? Karuah RSL offers so many beautiful scenic photographic backdrops for your wedding memories.
We have a superb, modern function room which comfortably caters to 200 people with table seating or up to 400 with concert seating.
The Bridgeview Restaurant have numerous Function Menus available with a wide range of prices.
Conferences, Fundraiser Functions, Trivia Nights, Presentation Nights, Engagement Parties, Special Family Events, Christmas Parties – if you can think of it we can cater for it.
Karuah RSL is a great venue for company training or meetings from 2 to 200 with WiFi and the latest audio visual computer access.
