The not-for-profit centre is community-based and can cater for up to 30 children daily between the ages of 3 and 6.

This year the pre-school is kitting out a new meeting room which was able to be built thanks to an ongoing fundraising effort backed by the Myall Coast community.

“The community have given us, and continue to give us wonderful support,” nominated supervisor Judy Clarke said.

“Once we get our new building up and running there will be a meeting room for appointments and a place for visiting specialists to operate out of, as well as a disabled toilet and a veranda.”

The pre-school operates 9am to 3pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week of the school year.
