The Riverside Café in Bulahdelah has opened its doors, welcoming their first customers last week.
Located at Bulahdelah Houseboats, the spectacular setting with views across the Myall River is just one of the many drawcards for the new café.
Owners Troy and Stacey Harvey, said they wanted to provide customers with a relaxing experience with fresh, healthy, locally sourced menu items.
“All our food is real,” Troy said.
“We don’t use any processed ingredients and we always use locally sourced produce.”
With spacious outdoor seating and cosy indoor areas, Troy and Stacey are hoping to attract a wide range of customers, catering for both locals and tourists.
“The location is very tranquil, offering peace and quiet with no cars around,” Troy said.
“It’s a great stop-off destination for travellers with easy parking and economically priced food.”
Stacey, who has a background in hospitality, is responsible for the menu whilst Troy takes care of the business side.
With menu items including hot and cold drinks, all day breakfasts, salads, wraps, burgers, frittatas and other light meals, Stacey and Troy are hoping their new business will become a part of the community.
“We wanted to integrate the business with the community,” Troy said.
“While working in a beautiful environment we want to provide locals and visitors with a great experience.”
The Café is open 7 days a week from 6.30am until 4pm.
“Everyone is welcome to come down and enjoy what we have to offer,” Troy said.
