Bulahdelah League side beat Gloucester

The annual Chris Hoare Cup Rugby League challenge took place where Bulahdelah Central School played Gloucester High, at Bulahdelah.

After losing by two points in 2013, Bulahdelah were determined to strike up a victory.

Running on to the field the boys were fiery and ready to play.

Off multiple penalties in a row Gloucester managed to break through our defence on the line scoring the first points of the game. Bulahdelah Rugby League3

At half time the score was 18 to 4 after Thomas Ross and Steven Curnow both went over to score a try.

In the second half there was no taking and it easy and it didn’t take long for our big running forward, Thomas Ross, to smash his way over the line to score his second try of the game.

Steven, with his golden boot, managed to convert every try scored which made the final score 42 to 4.

Bulahdelah’s determination and aggression in defense and brute strength in attack were too much for Gloucester to handle.
